We are fortunate to have called Silicon Valley home for the past few decades, and for having witnessed many of the defining waves of global change that had their origins right here in our own proverbial backyard (or garage, for the tech folklore fans among you).

 

The energy and buzz of creative output in this part of the world has been  like no other place on earth, until a few years ago. The past ten years however have shown us that Valley-esque tech-powered entrepreneurship and innovation have truly spread globally. From Estonia to Egypt, from Singapore to South Africa, disruptive entrepreneurship (and intrapreneurship) is now possible and encouraged in various forms. Covid-19 has only accelerated this decentralized multi-hub paradigm of creativity, be it in the form of a  difficult necessity or an unprecedented opportunity. 

 

As we march on through and past the pandemic, innovators and changemakers the world over face a unique moment of action - to build and rebuild, to ideate and collaborate, to support and scale. We believe that the world is just in the beginning stages of experiencing what are most likely to be long-term effects of this quantum leap, on all societal fronts. Supply chains, market economics, customer preferences, and capital allocation are all starting to morph to adapt to this new reality.
